Sexual Assaults In Today’s Military On Rise
According to a Military.com article in May 2019 a recent survey reported that the number of sexual assaults in the U.S. military rose by 38% from 2016 to 2018, a dramatic increase that comes despite years of efforts to halt rape and other sex crimes in the ranks.
Agent Orange Awareness Month
October is Agent Orange Awareness Month. It is a month that has been set aside to become more aware and knowledgeable about Agent Orange’s history and use as a defoliant as well as how it was used in chemical warfare by the United States in Vietnam among other countries.
In fact we can trace the use of agent orange to at least Vietnam, Korea, Okinawa, Thailand, Guam, Laos, Cambodia, Panama Canal, along with bases in the United States.
